I met Peter Boyce early last year during a fellowship at a new venture capital firm. Since then we have stayed in touched and followed each other’s careers. Peter is what I call a master of circumstance, he knows how to prepare himself for the right opportunity, always at the right times. Peter is a former Bad Boy Entertainment intern. He rose from being a founder apprentice at Skillshare, to being a director at the firm, and handled business development. Peter is now the president of Harvard College Venture Partners and aims to change the way entrepreneurship is embraced at colleges all over the nation.

We discuss:

The challenges of being in a early stage startup
Networking tips
How to get a mentor
How to always add value
The importance of company culture
Our admiration for Chris Sacca’s hustle
